Ethics Statement
I’ve poured my heart and soul into building a little corner of the internet where we can connect, laugh, and learn together. It’s more than just social media channels to me (Youtube, Instagram) – it’s a community of amazing people who’ve become like family. That’s why it’s so important to me that our relationship remains genuine and authentic.
Sponsored content is rare on my channel for a reason. When I do partner with a brand, it’s because I genuinely believe in their product and think it’ll add value to your lives. Trust me, I’ve been burned by bad products before, and I’d never recommend something I wouldn’t use myself. You can always count on me to be completely upfront about any partnerships. If it’s sponsored, you’ll know. Period !
I see sponsorships as a way to support the kind of content you love, not as a way to dictate it. It’s a two-way street – you get awesome content, the brand gets exposure, and I get to keep doing what I love(An omni win-win-win situation). But make no mistake, my loyalty and my first obligation will always be towards my community members and community members alone!
When it comes to product reviews, I call ‘em like I see ‘em. Whether I bought it myself, borrowed it, or was sent it, you’ll get the straight talk. No sugarcoating. I want to help you make informed decisions, and that means being honest, even if it means hurting someone’s feelings. I will call out the bads and appreciate the goods as it is, as I feel and from my experience and from only my own personal perspective.
I’m all about creative freedom. I make videos because I’m passionate about the topic, not because someone told me to. Every video is a labor of love, and I won’t let anyone compromise my vision.
I appreciate brands reaching out, but to be clear: I’m the captain of this ship. I decide what goes into my content, and when. No exceptions. All that being said, there are a few additional non-negotiable points I’d like to share for the sake of clarity. I’ve made all of this info publicly available to viewers and brands alike so that we’re all on the same page:
I prefer to work directly with brands.
My work is my own. I create and produce each video based on what I’m excited about and what I think will be relevant/helpful to my audience at that time.
I do not submit previews of videos to anyone for approval or revisions. No exceptions.
I have full control over my calendar. While I’m happy to work collaboratively when possible when it comes to scheduling, no outside party can pay or otherwise influence me in return for scheduling priority.
Just because a product is provided to me at no cost does not mean I will review it or feature it in a video. I do not make videos in exchange for free products or services.
Regarding any product or service information, I will only include what I think is relevant and necessary in any videos.
While it usually makes sense to include certain links in video descriptions or social media posts, I retain full control over what is shared on my accounts across all platforms.
YouTube’s “includes paid promotion” and Instagram “Sponsored partnership” option will be checked any time a video features a product or service that was provided at no cost, even if it’s not an official sponsorship.
Unless explicitly mentioned by me, I don’t include and feel obligated to additional social media promotion in any sponsorship agreements (Instagram, Twitter, Threads, Etc).
I’m happy if you re-share my work as long as it’s the original content with original link, I don’t appreciate reuse(re-upload) of my content to your channel in any form without prior permission .
While I put my best effort in each content piece I product, I cannot guarantee a certain number of views, likes, shares etc, I always like to go above on beyond to make all of my content reach maximum people in my nice but it’s not in my control to make anything “Viral” . If I knew how to do that, why wouldn’t I make all my videos go viral? :)
Thanks for being part of this journey with me. Your support means the world. Let's keep it real.
